Designer (Solar Projects)

Objective: We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Designer to create efficient and optimized solar project layouts using industry-standard tools like AutoCAD and PVsyst. The role involves designing system configurations, preparing BOMs, performing simulations, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of solar projects.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• B.Tech (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical)
• Experience: 1–5 Years

Key Responsibilities

• Create site layouts using AutoCAD and PVsyst
• Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) for structures
• Perform cost estimation of structures
• Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and officers on design-related queries
• Perform solar PV simulations for rooftop and ground-mounted projects
• Calculate energy yield, performance ratio (PR), and system losses
• Design and optimize module layout, stringing, and inverter sizing
• Conduct shading analysis and site performance evaluation
• Generate simulation reports and feasibility studies
• Support pre-bid and proposal engineering with accurate data

Skills & Software Requirements

• Proficiency in:
  • AutoCAD
  • PVsyst
• Basic knowledge of:
  • MS Excel
  • MS Word
• Good communication skills
• Should be phone-friendly and responsive
