Job Description
- Independently source and hire labour/contractual workers through personal/vendor networks as per site requirements
- Manage the onboarding process: collect and verify documents, complete joining formalities, conduct site induction
- Maintain statutory documents: muster rolls, wage registers, PF/ESIC records, labour licenses, etc.
- Monitor contractor compliance and ensure timely submission of all relevant records
- Manage and track daily attendance, leave records, and manpower strength
- Coordinate for WC policies, ESIC coverage, and insurance documentation of site workers
- Assist during labour inspections, audits, and ensure readiness of compliance documentation
- Maintain manpower and compliance trackers and share regular updates with the head office
- Handle basic grievance redressal and coordinate with the Admin, Safety, and HO HR teams for any support
- Ensure implementation of HR policies, welfare measures, and labour law requirements at site
Skills
- Knowledge of basic labour laws (PF, ESIC, Minimum Wages Act)
- Good document management and reporting skills
- Hands-on experience in attendance and manpower handling
- Strong coordination skills (internal and external communication)
- Basic proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Email writing
- Ability to handle labour inspections and site audits
- Organized, responsible, and able to work independently at sites
