Site Engineer – Solar

Objective: To manage site execution, documentation, contractor coordination, and client communication for solar projects to ensure smooth and timely execution of site activities by managing measurements, material verification, site coordination, documentation, manpower, electrical installation, and client/authority communication while maintaining quality, and safety

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Experience 1-5 Years
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Have to move PAN India
• Willing to stay at site from 1 day to 60days.
• Travel friendly in buses & Train.
• Strong Measurement and calculation skills.
• Good Knowledge of read and interpret drawings.
• Good decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Must be proactive, responsible, and result-oriented.
• Communication skill must be good

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site measurements and ensure accuracy.
• Prepare and submit measurements in the required format.
• Share measurements with the concerned team and take approval before leaving the site.
• Ensure regular presence at ongoing execution sites.
• Verify material availability as per BOM and report any shortage or missing items to the immediate senior on the first day.
• Submit a daily work execution report by the end of each day.
• Maintain all site documentation, including attendance sheets, work permits, and entry passes.
• Capture and share site photographs before starting and after completion of work.
• Collect any materials or documents couriered from the office from the nearest courier location.
• Inform the immediate senior at least 3 days prior to site completion for proper handover planning.
• Address and discuss queries raised by officers regarding executed work.
• Arrange and manage local manpower for civil work (e.g., mounting structure installation, base preparation) before solar panel installation.
• Coordinate with DISCOM and clients for net metering processes.
• Handle liaisoning with local authorities and officials for permissions and coordination.
• Execute complete wiring, earthing, and electrical installation for solar systems.
• Lead and manage a team of up to 10 members to ensure timely project completion.
