Production Manager

Job Description

• Develop production plans and schedules based on customer orders and production capacity.
• Coordinate with the sales team to understand order requirements and delivery deadlines.
• Ensure optimal utilization of resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Lead and manage a team of production personnel, including supervisors, operators, and technicians.
• Assign tasks, provide guidance, and monitor performance to ensure efficient production operations.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, identify training needs, and provide coaching and mentoring as required.
  7.Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
  8.Conduct regular inspections of fabricated products to identify any defects or non-conformities.
  9.Collaborate with the quality assurance team to develop and improve quality procedures and processes.
  10.Process Improvement and Optimization: Continuously analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement efficient workflows.
  11.Recommend and implement changes to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and minimize waste.
  12.Monitor production metrics, such as cycle time, yield, and scrap rates, and take corrective actions as necessary.
• 13. Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
  14.Conduct regular safety training sessions for employees and enforce safe work practices.
  15.Investigate and report any accidents or incidents and implement preventive measures.
• Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, procurement, and maintenance, to address production-related issues and ensure smooth operations.
  17.Communicate effectively with the management team to provide regular updates on production progress, challenges, and opportunities.

Skills:

1.Proven experience as a production manager or similar role in the fabrication industry.

2. Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, techniques, and equipment.
3. Excellent leadership and people management skills.
4. Proficient in production planning, scheduling, and inventory management.
5. Solid understanding of quality control principles and practices.
6. Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
7. Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Proficient in MS Office and ERP software
   10.Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
10. Must have knowledge of Designing, Scada, AutoCAD.
11. Understanding Mechanical Tools , Unit of Measurements , Raw material .
